Rhick Lars Vladimer Albay is a young journalist based in Iloilo City, Philippines. He is a fellow of the Earth Journalism Network’s Biodiversity Media Initiative and the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism's Uncovering LGUs programme, as well as the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s Reporting on Social Inclusion Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic project.
His work has received recognition from the Globe Media Excellence Awards, the Bantala University of the Philippines Visayas Media Excellence Awards, the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Megaworld Corporation, AnakTV, and the Embassy of Chile, among others.
